Privacy Policy
What we collect
Almost nothing by default. RoamReady is a static website. We do not run accounts, comment systems, or contact forms that store personal data on our servers. Email us and the only record of your message is the mailbox it lands in.
- Newsletter — if you subscribe, we store the email address you gave us with the mailing provider solely to send the weekly tip. Unsubscribe links are in every issue; removing your address deletes it from the list.
- Cookies & consent — a small local preference remembers your cookie-consent choice (accept / reject non-essential) so we stop asking. It contains no identifiers and is never shared.
- Analytics & ads — if you accept non-essential cookies, we may load a privacy-friendly analytics service and third-party display advertising (e.g. Google AdSense), which may set their own cookies for ad measurement and personalization. If you reject, no ad or analytics scripts load. You can change your mind by clearing site data, which makes the banner reappear.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links to eSIM providers are affiliate links marked
rel="sponsored nofollow". If you click one, the provider's payment
processor sets its own cookies/session to attribute the sale. That processing happens
on the provider's site under the provider's privacy policy, not ours — see each
provider's policy before purchase.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your data to anyone.
- Run third-party trackers that shadow you across other sites beyond what ad partners require when you've consented.
- Email you anything beyond the newsletter you asked for.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (EU/EEA, UK, California, etc.) you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you — in practice, that's your newsletter email address. Email Vantoron@gmail.com and we'll action it.
Children
RoamReady is aimed at adults planning travel and does not knowingly collect data from children.
